Buying guide
A practical supplement buying checklist
Eight questions to answer before spending money.
- What is the goal? Do not confuse firmness, desire, stamina, and permanent size.
- Is the full label available? Check amounts, serving size, warnings, and other ingredients.
- What was actually studied? Ingredient research and finished-product research are different.
- Is the claim proportionate? “Supports wellness” does not establish treatment of a medical condition.
- Can the seller be identified? Look for a real business, clear contact details, and a usable return policy.
- What testing is documented? Ask what was tested, which batch, and by whom. A logo alone does not prove purity or effectiveness.
- What is the total cost? Include shipping, subscriptions, serving count, and return conditions.
- Is it suitable for you? Have a pharmacist or clinician check medicines, conditions, and the complete formula.
